
Overview of the role
Responsible for the Revenue Management of 11 Travelodge Hotels. In conjunction with senior management team you will be responsible for setting the annual budgets by property. Responsible for the forecasting of revenues on a weekly basis with the property managers. Manage and set all Rate Strategies for all market segments. Manage the Group Databases and ensure targets are set by Hotel
Key Responsibilities
• Maximizing revenue and driving sales from all potential markets.
• Responsible for implementing a rate strategy that takes into account potential hotel occupancy according to supply and demand in order to optimize Revpar and to maximize our sales revenue.
• Set up and management of all social networking sites.
• Management of revenues and rates introduced by beneficial sales and marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Controlling special offers and packages.
• Loading yearly rates and allocations into the Front Office System.
• Manage and co-ordinate all book out situations when required.
• Management of Travelodge official site. Ensuring that all imagery, content and promotions are up-to-date and current. Set target/budgeted revenues for own site business by Hotel. Target of reciprocal links.
• Responsible for the annual web development plan.
• Management of all third party websites. Holding regular meetings, setting targets by Hotel and management of all promotions to drive business for underperforming properties.
• Management of our Affiliate account.
• Management of the CMS system.
• Manage group reservations process and set group rate strategy by Hotel.
• Communicate and provide all departments with required information in terms of reports and customer detail.
• Ensuring the Hotels Reservations Departments are properly trained and tasks are delegated.
• Producing reports as required by the management team.
• Deal directly with the Revenue and IT department in Travelodge UK.
• To ensure that the Travelodge, consistently adheres to Brand Standards
Skills & Experience
• Be commercially aware, sales and target driven.
• A strong background in Reservations and Revenue.
• A proven track record in managing OTA’s and rate optimization.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Experience in Opera Fidelio would be an advantage but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) with good interpersonal skills.

Job Description: (Temporary Contract – Maternity Cover)
Varied Hrs – €8.65 per hr + shift allowance
Overview of the role:
You will be the first person our customers meet when they stay with us, so it’s important that you create the right impression. You will need to meet and greet our customers in a polite and friendly way, making them feel welcome and safe.
Key Responsibilities :
- Keeping customers happy will be the most important thing to you;
- Be friendly and helpful at all times;
- Welcome our customers to the hotel - check them in and make any reservation changes as required; ensuring our guests enjoy our ‘sleep tight’ policy and monitoring night shift
- Listen to our customers and be happy to help with any queries they might have. If you can’t help, you’ll find someone who can;
- Work together with your colleagues to make sure that our customers enjoy their stay;
- Learn about what’s happening in your hotel and the local area and share this with the rest of your team;
- Look for and make the most of sales opportunities;
- Update and maintain rates on our SRP websites on which Travelodge rooms are sold.
- Complete day-to-day paperwork and other documentation on time and accurately;
- Keep yourself, the team and our customer’s safe – and be aware of any potential problems;
- Keep your line manager up-to-date with maintenance, service or equipment issues and follow these up;
- Follow our procedures, when dealing with cash handling, accounts, customer bookings, security and stock;
- Keep it clean - maintain a clean and tidy front and back reception area;
- Look after yourself and others – make sure you follow instructions for health and fire, cleaning products, manual handling and food hygiene;
- Treat your colleagues in a fair and friendly way;
- Be flexible at all times with any other duties in the Hotel as required.
