Sales Administrator (3 days per week) - Travelodge Head Office

This role will be based in our head office in Parkwest, as a part time position, 3 days a week.

Primary areas of responsibility:

  • Following up on all leads generated in the properties as well as prospecting for business using own initiative
  • Working closely with sales manager and hotel managers to issue corporate contracts, and also working closely with revenue on multi property accounts
  • Report on market and competitor activities
  • Attend Traveltrade events and sales meetings and follow up on contacts/leads
  • Ensure that every hotel has the best opportunity to quote for business
  • Ensuring that the company's databases are kept updated with all project activity
  • Tracking lost business and analysis of the daily sales, vision and sales reports
  • Targeting markets highlighted in our database by sector and location
  • Collation of information on all sports activities nationwide. Leagues,clubs and traveling special interest groups
  • Media savvy and in touch with day to day updates in developing projects nationwide

The ideal candidate:

  • Knowledge of the hotels market would be advantageous but not prerequisite
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • IT literate and comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Opera HRS
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter
  • Results orientated, determined and enthusiastic
