Sales and Marketing Coordinator

The Role:

  • Development of databases for all markets and continual updating and tracking of each segment

  • Daily monitoring of the Vision reports, highlighting any new volume producers or new company names that can be targeted for nationwide business

  • Responding to all Corporate discount program enquiries/requests, and maximising the opportunities to us from these sign ups by constant engagement with clients

  • Developing and maintaining all national account, tour operator and TPI contracts in a central database with renewal review alerts

  • Coordinating in conjunction with the hotels a current calendar of events, with a focus on business/trade show/conference venue opportunities as well as the more traditional leisure/entertainment based events opportunities, and targeting of same in timely fashion (exhibitors/event build teams/staging crews and support staff)

  • Historic/lapsed users analysis of Opera reports, chasing past business for future opportunities

  • Monitoring of the Construction Activity database for all our markets, highlighting any new additions to the list that can be targeted, and remote construction/fit our companies that may have accommodation requirements

  • Monitoring of local planning decisions/application etc for all our markets with a view to early targeting of any developments for contractors etc

  • Supervising the production and distribution of marketing materials for Travelodge Ireland to all properties. Liaising with property managers to maintain that all marketing supplies are up to date in each property

  • Developing standardize presentations, sales scripts, proposals and Assisting in writing, tracking and delivery of marketing promotions, ie Radio, Print campaigns

  • Setting up of appointments and coordinating sales meetings for Sales manager for Key Accounts and also for individual property managers on joint calls

  • Monitoring individual hotels email sign up statistics

  • Attending tradeshows, company sponsored promotions and events when required

  • Monitoring online activities for tracking communications related to Travelodge Ireland

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role highly desirable

  • Excellent administration, telephone and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organised individual with high attention to detail

  • Must have permission to work in Ireland on a full time basis
