FAQs

What is TravelodgeProtect+?

TravelodgeProtect+ is our programme of cleaning and social distancing measures, designed to keep our guests and teams safe. The programme has been developed by a dedicated cross functional hygiene strategy team and is the basis for our new way of working in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

How often will my room be cleaned?

To minimise contact with rooms our housekeeping teams will not enter your bedroom during your stay. If you require additional tea and coffee or towels during your stay, please ask a member of our team who will be happy to help.

Can I request that housekeepers do not enter my room?

Our housekeeping team will not enter your room until after you check out unless you have requested additional tea and coffee or towels.

How are you ensuring your hotel teams are healthy to work?

Our number one priority is the safety and security of our customers and teams. We want to create an environment where everyone has peace of mind - whether you are staying or working with us. We have strict processes in place that our hotel teams follow when they arrive for work or if they start to show symptoms or if they cannot come in to work.

What processes are in place to ensure the health of other guests staying at your hotel?

There is a communication issued to all guest on check-in which outlines our safety procedures and actions our guests must take if they feel unwell and have COVID-19 symptoms. All hotel team members are also fully trained on the procedures they must follow should this situation arise.

Are you allowing international travellers to quarantine at your hotels?

The Government has yet to publish guidance in relation to quarantine for international travellers. When guidance is provided, we will update our policies in line with them.

Will your hotels with on-site Bar Cafe restaurants and bars be serving food and drink?

Under current circumstances we are following local health and safety which may result in limited food and beverages, guests should check with hotel prior to arrival.
