Stay at any of the 10 Travelodge Ireland hotels and claim up to €125 tax credit back.

We are delighted with the news from the Irish Government of the introduction of “The Stay and Spend Incentive” for a staycation in Ireland which is effective from the 1st of October to 30th of April 2021.

How does it work?

This staycation grant works as a tax rebate on holiday bills. An Irish Taxpayer who spends up to €625 on accommodation, food, and non-alcoholic drinks will be able to claim back 20% of the spend (up to €125) via a tax credit and better if you are a jointly assessed couple you both can claim back up to €250 on a spend of up to €1,250. You will require a copy of your receipt when you claim, our team are happy to assist with this upon check-out

Stay & Spend Scheme is operated by Ireland’s Office of the Revenue Commissioners.
